Question:
Can anyone think of any reason why Widcomm's Bluetooth Springboard package couldn't include internet sharing? We know that it can use a cell phone as an untethered modem, but can a protocol be designed to create a TCP/IP connection to be shared with a computer that has a persistent LAN connection?

WOW. Talk about something that would make me literally leap for my wallet.
Even if the range is somewhat limited, the ability to browse small things on the web from my wireless visor in the living room would be GREAT.
If that's possible, i'd buy the bluetooth module the instant I could.

With the BlueShare product this is already planned. Check the data on Widcom's website.

Actually, according to the data on the web site, it's NOT already planned. It is detailed that it will connect to Bluetooth enabled Dialing devices as if they were hardwired modems, but it does not detail what happens entirely with PCs.
