Question

I was wondering. I've had my visor for less the a week and already scratech are turning up in the graffiti area. It seems little pieces of dist get stuck under the tip of the pen and goung up the digitizer.

Do pens like the 'Panache' do this too? I've tried making vinyl screen protectors, but they impair my graffiti writing. what can I do?

Even the best stylus in the world will cause scratches if dust and debris are present. The best protection against scratches is to use a screen protector - commercial or homemade. I use homemade clear vinyl protectors (8 gauge) and have found that they improve my Graffiti rather than impair it. Perhaps the vinyl you're using is to thick...

Cool

There are lots of possibilities for protecting your screen. You can either buy tailor-made screen protectors (but do not buy the ones that are boycotted - check out the "better screen protectors" thread in the off topic section or Ryan's site http://www.girlandgeek.com/boycott ) or make them yourself.
There is a very good website that describes the different possibilities to make your own screen protectors from Dale Coffin (I'm not sure about his last name though) - just serach the VisorCentral archives for "screen protectors" and you should find the link to his site easily.
I currently use WritRights (sold in most of the office superstores like Staples, BestBuy etc.) Clear vinyl is also very popular. Just make sure that you buy thin or medium thickness - otherwise you have to press too hard when writing Graffiti.
You can also try clear tape (Scotch removeable in the green dispenser 3/4 inch wide) but it just covers the Graffiti area.

My screen protectors have saved me a couple of times (especially when somebody plays around with my Visor and scratches the screen by accident).

Have fun!
