Question MacOS X <-> PC Compatibility of Palm Desktop Files

So... my Treo finally sucked it's last breath which leaves me with my Visor + VisorPhone combo. After multiple unsuccessful attempts of syncing with my Mac under MacOS X, I decided it was probably simpler to just sync the machine with the PC down the hall. I figured I could just move the files over from the Mac and resync.

Well.. apparently not. The backups (.prc and .pdb's) went over without a hitch, but it appears that memo, todo, address book, and datebook records are bundled in a "User Data" file which is not read by the PC version of the Palm Desktop. To make matters worse, I can't get the PC to import the records I exported from the Mac.

Anyone have any ideas? I thought for sure that the export/import would do the trick.

There is (or was) an online service that facilitated syncing. I don't remember the name of it right now, but maybe this will jar someones memory.
You could also try to dial into your isp via the visorphone and do a modem sync.
