I talked to my wireless supplier today, Cingular (formerly SW Bell) and they indicated that the only web enabled phone they have is the Nokia 7160 ($99).
If I had one of these and a cable to connect them, would I be ready to use my VPL to check e-mail and surf the net?
If not, what else would I need?
Thanks,

I haven't seen any cables for the Nokia 7160's... or any
Nokia phones for that matter. I have only seen for
Motorolla phones. But yes "IF" you had one of these
phones and had a cable that would work. As long as you
had an ISP service and a Web Browser such as Palm Scape
or one of the others that is all you would need.

Thanks for that info.
Now, can I use any ISP, I have Prodigy at home, or can I use the service supplied by the phone company since it has web access on it?

You should be able to use your prodigy dial up.. I don't
think you will be able to use the service provided by
cingular for your VPL since it uses WAP.
