James, learning is headed in this direction - in the corporate world and higher education. It's a no brainer - Learning - independent of time and place - using a mobile device. At East Carolina University, we have a program underway using the Handspring Visor Deluxe with a Springboard backup module and a modem with academic content provided via an AvantGo server. The program is going great. The initiative will be expanded in the spring semester. Bring on the wireless ethernet module for the Handsprings. More later.

Anyone interested in details can e-mail me.

Lightbulb

This is an escellent concept! I am a graduating senior at Texas A&M going into the IT workplace. This technology will be very beneficial in advancing my knowledge. If I can take MSCE/CNNA prep courses with me on my Visor and use it for quick reference it beats the heck out of heavy manuals or a laptop! All this great stuff is not going to fit on my 2Mb Visor I am afraid......maybe time to upgrade to a Platinum.
