James et al,
I didn't find any mention of it in my search of the discussion forums, but would it be possible to configure VC to allow us to delete our own posts?
Currently, if you edit a post, there is a checkbox for delete, but if you set that, it says:
"Sorry, but only forum leaders are permitted to delete posts. "

I have found that you can essentially do it now. When editing just completely delete all the previously posted text and replace it with a .
Then all that shows in the original post is the this message was edited by . . .

Yeah, that is how I have been doing it. But I wonder why we can't delete our own posts? My guess would be that it opens up something else we shouldn't be able to do......

Yeah, I wish we were able to delete our own posts. I've been on other UBB boards and I've been able to delete my posts there. Oh well, nothing but a small annoyance on an otherwise outstanding site.
