Wink

Well, I've done it; I ordered a Visor. I've done a lot of research and feel convinced this is a good product. I'm a big believer in going with "different." (That's why I bought the new Saturn LS2; and I took all kinds of flack for that!) Here's what should be coming my way . . .

1. Black Visor Deluxe w/ USB & Serial
2. Back-up Springboard
3. Tiger Woods Springboard (love golf)
4. Chrome Stylus from PDAPanache
5. WriteRight sheets
6. Rhodiana Case

Does this sound like a good start? I placed my BVD order on Saturday night via the web. Their site still says 4 weeks, but I got an e-mail that said it would ship within 5 days.) PDAPanache said the stylus is backordered but a new shipment is due in 3-5 days. I want to thank all of you VisorCentral contributors. Speaking as a new user of PDA's, this site has been a tremendous resource for me. I really appreciate everyone's insights and tips. I'll let you know what happens.

Question

Joe,

Pardon my off topic post. How do you like your LS2? My wife is on her third SL2 and she loves it (just like she loved the previous ones!). Well, 2 mos. after we bought our most recent SL2, the LS series came out. Now she wants to get one. Let me know what you think of yours. Any input is appreciated.

Hawk

Cool

Congrats on what I think is a wise decision. The Visor (BVD) I have is a wonderful tool for many purposes. There are those who have said less than positive things about the device, but as an original Pilot and Newton user, I can with some experience in the bank of using such tools, say the Visor is a good product that will become even better when we can get the 3rd party modules in our hands.

Bring on the modem, the MP3 player and the wireless connectivity.

Hawkeye,
Not to keep us off topic, but briefly: If you already own a Saturn SL, you will LOVE the LS2. I advise upgrading to the leather interior and traction control. This car has been terrific - I really recommend it. (I've owned Toyotas for 15 years.) It's "different"; just like the Visor!
I can't wait to get a maintenance/mileage program going on my Visor - when it gets here!
