Oh my God, I was about to get the Thinmodem a few days ago at 99.95 but I was waiting for some offer form CompUSA or Staples, but not from PalmGear. Now the Thinmodem is 79.96, 20 dollars down. I ordered mine right away. Now my question is if the 30 dollars mail-in rebate will work. It ends on 11/16/01 I guess it should work but I want to be sure.

It never fails...

...if I move into the shorter line...it goes slower...

...if I buy a module...it will go on sale EXACTLY 31 days later...one day too late to get a refund....

I guess I could still find SOMETHING to buy...

I wrote an e-mail to the guys at PalmGear and they say that the rebate will not apply for the Thinmodem because it has already been discounted. My question is: Why do they say this? I don't think it has nothing to do with the Card-Access rebate. Anyway I want my rebate and I will harass as many people as it requires to get my rebate. Anybody wants to support this rebate? Anybody knows who should we call that are more related with the rebate. Something like a rebate center.

I can't believe this... PalmGear says that the Thinmodem is on Back order and I ordered one today right after VC News said that they were 20% off. I checked yesterday and they were not on sale. So, why didn't they stated that they were on backorder. The expected day it is said to be the 10th of this month. And I thought I was one of the first to order it. Damn...!!!

Anyway, I hope it gets home before the rebate ends
