Anyway to supe up my visor to use a AC Adapter (so I don't waste so much battery power while using at night.

If you're referring to a VDx, check out this thread about making the Visor Deluxe rechargeable. Probably works for the Platinum, too.

This gadget is only for Palm IIIs now unfortunately, but it fits the bill of what you want. Perhaps e-mail them and ask when/if they are developing for the Visor.
