Power button bad

The power button on my Deluxe hasn't worked for some time.

Has anyone done their own repair on the power button or know enough about the insides to know if it's possible to repair?

Thanks

How are you using it w/ an inop power button?

If you go to http://www.gethightech.com they have some parts available as well as repair procedures. I don't know if they have anything on the power button but they do have links to a couple of other companies.

I'll be willing to take a stab at it. All you will have to absorb would be the parts and shipping. It may not even need parts?

Thanks for the link. Looks like they sell a $15 board that replaces all the buttons. That's better than the Handspring $99 repair.

I've been turning the unit on using the other hard buttons and off using LauncherIII. Lost a little functionality, but I was living with it.
