Question

I'm about to go to a wireless at my house with a couple of Proxim Symphony nic cards. Anyone now of any springboard modules now available or in the works that will let me use my Visor to connect with these cards?

I think the Symphony product is a HomeRF device, and I haven't seen any announcements of Springboard modules for that. I'd suggest thinking of useing standard 802.11b wireless networking at home instead. The Xircom module, which in theory will be available in a few months, will let you tie into 802.11b lans.

Yes, I would avoid HomeRF if you have not already purchased the stuff. One can get MUCH better speeds (theoretically 11 Mbps, reality 4 Mbps for 802.11b) for cheaper with the standardized 802.11b. HomeRF is fast becoming an orphaned technology.
