I'm on my third day of using the Eyemodule2, and loving it (I'll probably start updating my avatars daily). But I keep running into an annoying synchronization feature. Every time I HotSynch, the images stored in the Prism a reloaded into my Eyemodule desktop folder, even if the same pictures are already there. So I keep having to delete repeat images after each HotSynch, and I don't see any option to disable this duplication from happening. Is there a way to fix this?

Are you renaming your images? If the images don't have the exact same name on the Visor and desktop, they will duplicate.

If you don't want images to transfer at all, turn off the conduit. Go to Hotsync Manager and select Custom. Select your username and double-click the eyemodule2 conduit. Uncheck the box next to "Convert and place images..." You can always turn it back on later.

One trick is to create diff. folders (I made ones like 1000, 2000, 3000, etc. -- no reason), then in the Information dialog, move them to those folders. They'll be created on the desktop when you sync, and maybe that'll minimize this problem. (I've never had it, w/either EM1 or EM2, FWIW.)

jenesis & bkbk:

Thanks. That's exactly what I needed to hear.
