I haven't abandoned this place completely, and luckily I subscribed to my own thread so I get emails when someone replies

I am going to be selling everything I have left for the Handspring on ebay in the coming week. Make me an offer for the GPS and the modem - what I'm asking for them can be found earlier on this thread.

btw how is that zodiac working for ya'?
that thing looks pretty cool, though it kinda reminds me of an N-Gagge, but minus the phone, add multimedia.

The zodiac is working GREAT! No other PDA really compares to it IMO. There's a couple of things I'm waiting for vendors to release (SDIO WiFi ) but as it is I'm able to browse the web via my notebook or my cell phone (BT) and it's VERY fast. It has probably the clearest screen I've ever seen, and because it is transflexive (sp?) I can see it with NO problems in bright sunlight!

As for the springboards - I'd have to think about it.

yeah, I've read that there's trouble getting WiFi drivers to work with PalmOS 5.
plus I've read that certain power requirements may determine which devices can really use a SDIO WiFi card. but that may only be an issue with the treo 600.
hopefully your zodiac will be fine.
