I ordered my visor 11/1 and actually received it 12/1, 4 weeks as promised.
no complaints about the unit, but I also ordered a serial cradle, which shipped seperately, and arrived 1 week later.
After trying the serial cradle on 2 different machines and 3 different OS's,
I concluded it was broken (since the USB worked fine).
So I decide to call HS and get the serial cradle replaced. After being on hold for 2 hours (with choppy music), I finally got through to one of their reps, to find out that they cannot look up your order by name, date, address, or anything other than the order number, which I did not have at the location from which I was calling.
What kind of database are they using ???
MSAccess ?
on a scale from 1 to 10 on lack of foresight, I give them a 10.
on a scale from 1 to 10 on customer service, I give them a 0.
I will call back monday, now that I have all pertinent info (stored in my visor )
moral of the story: HAVE ORDER NUMBER.
