Cool

Hi All,
Let suppose Handspring were giving out free frisbees for a promotional item. How many of you would like to have one?

This is just a question?
If Handspring already have some, I can send them my snail mail address.

Cool

I'd like one, or maybe a couple. A friend of mine is into Ultimate, and likes interesting discs.

Wink Handspring Frisbee

Hi All,
Let's "hope" someone on the Handspring Team is monitoring this thread :^).
Maybe they will throw some out to us real soon, if the interest is there!!!

handspring disc

Ooooo! Definitely. That logo would be so cool on a disc. Now I'm not interested if it one of those cheesy ones like banks give away. None of that stuff. I want a true disc - 175 grams! Regulation ultimate. (I'm a disc nerd too.)

Really cool! [straightens his tie and tries to regain his composure] As a promotion, they could have frisbee tournaments that the winner gets a new prisim!

Will it be in translucent blue so I can see the gyroscopic stabilizers that are built-in to all Frisbees?

The handspring logo, when carved out of a consistant high grade 3/16" thick plywood, will fly much like a boomerang.

A Visor, when relieved of it's batteries to balance the void of the springboard slot, can also be thrown like a frisbee. It will not fly very far, and does not produce lift as it cuts through the air like a true frisbee does. In my experience, though, they do not survive many throws. The plastic is apparently not frisbee grade.

So Handspring need not give us free frisbees. We visor owners already have the raw materials and design drawings in our hands.

There's always another way to look at things. It's the way I prefer.

Dave ;=)

Oh yeah!! Maybe in each of the colors that the Visor comes in!! But they would most definitely have to be 145g or above. No cheesy frisbees please!!! I want something that is going to do what I want it to do when I throw it.

I also think that the hotsync logo would look pretty cool on a frisbee.

Cool

Hi All,
I think the Handspring logo would look real "COOL" on a white frisbee myself w/ their World Wide Web address on it also.

I want it to have a round LCD and a Springboard slot so I can access the web wirelessly with my Minstrel S modem.

BEN

PS. The screen should be color, once you've seen a Prism, you never go back.
