Question

I ordered a BVD a few weeks ago and somehow my credit card information wasn't correct. Handspring's billing department called me at work to correct this but it didn't have my other card with me so I was told I could call back with the information later...

I called this morning and was told that I would have to re-order my Visor. Ugh.

I need a Palm device as soon as possible due to having a Palm III stolen a month ago.

My question is; is it really worth the frustration and waiting? Should I just go ahead and get another Palm device?

I hate waiting

If you read through some of the recent postings here it seems like shipping times are down in the 2 to 3 week range. I'd have to say that a short wait for a Visor is definitely worth the wait...

I have to agree with MarkEagle. A friend received her BVD, 3 weeks and one day after ordering and mine is due here sometime next week, 3 weeks after ordering (based on shipping info from handspring and the fact that they billed my card lst week). I have seen posts from people that have received it in less than a week but I think they sold their souls to the devil ;-)

If you can wait the few weeks to get it, I think the visor, with the springboard technology and the memory adavantage over every Palm except the Vx, is worth waiting for. If you absolutly can't wait, and you can afford it, a friend of mine is head-over heals about his Vx

Thumbs up

I ordered my BVD late on the 23rd od Dec and got it Thurs. I think you can count on it being delivered in less than two weeks! Handspring is a young company that is growing up! Well worth the purchase. :{)>
