Oh no! I dropped my Visor last night and now it's cracked right at the corner, across the "visor" lettering! It works fine except for the crack.

Even worse, I bought the Visor when I was on assignment in Michigan, and I live in Malaysia, so getting support is a real problem.

Gonna call Handspring later today (we have a 12-hour difference in time zone from LA) and ask them if they can send me a replacement casing or something. I'm willing to pay for a replacement, but I don't know whether they can send me one to Malaysia...

Unhappy

Sorry to hear about your case. Hope HS is nice enough to send you a replacement. It's kinda ironic that you have to get it from the U.S. because they assmble Visor in Malaysia. Wonder if you can find out where the factory is & get extra casing...

Cool

Perhaps you could just take it right back to the factory! On the back of the Visor it says, "Assembled in Malaysia."

;-)

I called Handspring long distance last night (day for you guys) and they said I could have it replaced no problem.

The only thing is that I have to courier the thing to a friend in the US and have him send it back and receive the new one, after which he'll send it back to me.

Yeah, I know that the Visor is assembled in Malaysia, but so far, my best efforts to find out where it is has been to no avail.

I even emailed Handspring but never received a reply.
