VisorPhone uninstall?
Howdy. I just got a new cellphone, and want to get my VisorPhone packaged up for sale. Since it use's the smartcard, is there anything I have to do to clear my VisorPhone out, or unlock it or something to that effect? Thanks!

Someone correct me if I am wrong but it depends. Did you get a GSM phone? If so you could swap SIM cards. You would then have numbers you loaded into the SIM. The SIM may need to be programmed for your new number. If not a GSM phone you should go into the phonebook app and select SIM then delete numbers that have been loaded on it.

Yep, its a GSM VoiceStream VisorPhone...so I'm thinking that the SIM Card is the important piece, everthing else is generic...right?

That's my understanding. Did you get a whole new phone (card w/ new number?)? If so, too bad. Just switch the card and you are on your way. I hoping I can pick up a cheap GSM from VoiceStream myself to use til the Treo comes out

Well, they had one for $85.00, but it was a bigger Nokia, so for $115, I got the Nokia 3390. Nothing fancy, but small and easy to use. I did swap the SIM card, so no loss there, but unfortunately, since I just moved, I need to buy a new on anyway...another $20.00 down the tubes.

You'll have the following files in your Visor, as a result of VisorPhone being used. You can delete them:
PhoneCallDB
PhoneDialDB
SMS Messages
SMS Msg Index
