quote: As for 1) At one point I did try Netscape 6 on the Mac, but decided it was too buggy and ugly to use.
Try Mozilla instead. I prefer it over Netscape.
quote: As for using IE I run into problems with sites using javascript, which is not always handled well by IE (and one can guess why!?).
Actually, IE5/Mac is one of the best browser out there for any platform. The sites it has trouble with Javascript on are just poorly coded sites.
quote: Moreover I don't like M$ to completely dominate the browser market and dictate what works on a webpage and what does not.
Not sure what you mean by that. Technically speaking, ALL browsers can dictate what does or does not work in their own browser. To be fair, IE5/Mac and Mozilla are the only two browsers that come anywhere close to truly supporting web standards.
quote: Therefore: VisorCentral can you please change the way you redesigned the table drawing. I might be paranoid, but it might be a feature of M$ software you used, which "accidentally" breaks something in a competitor's product. I know of other instances in the past when this happened.
This has nothing to do with VisorCentral or the software they used to design the site. Netscape Navigator 4.7 simply has a very poor rendering engine and tends to puke on complex sited designed within one large table.
Could VC accomodate NN4.7 users better? Certainly. But don't go thinking this is some sort of Microsoft Conspiracy. (I fully believe that there ARE MS Conspiracies, but this isn't one of them. )
