Unhappy Visorphone's ringer = dead?

Curses...I just received my VisorPhone last night, charged it up, and began using it this morning. I found, much to my dismay, that the ringers won't work...the phone DOES receive calls, but no sound is heard. The vibrating feature does work...but no tones are emitted when either changing the ring tone or receiving a call. Has anyone had a similar problem? I'm guessing my ringer itself is broken, and that I'll hafta send it back to Handspring. The phone DOES sound the call-waiting tone, however...oh well

bummer

Did you check your profile and the ringer switch to make sure that your current profile isn't set to "silent" or something along those lines?

Yeah, I've checked the ringer switch, and have tried both ringer positions, just in case only one could play the tones (for whatever odd reason).

I also have the "Play ring when changed" option selected...when I turn the vibrate option on and off, I feel the phone vibrate. When I change the ringer tone, nothing happens

I AM using SilentHack, I'll try disabling that to see if maybe, somehow, it's interfering...

Zappa rules, BTW...such a musical genius
