I too was concerned with the electrical contacts in the bottom of the slot. So, simple solution. I put the coins and other metallic objects in the springboard cover first, then on top I put the folded paper money and then my business card folded in half. There is nothing conductive, or hard, that could cause any damage. This also keeps anything from rattling around. I hate the sound of stuff rattling around inside my head...

I agree. I know there is a bottom on the blank springboard module but I am paranoid that when removing it, something could pop out of there and fall down on the pins. Would only take a sec for something slip then ZAP! 
Oh well maybe I am overly paranoid but better safe than dead Visor.
