have a new desktop system and went to install the hot sync sw but unable to locate the CD. can anyone tell me where i can get a replacement set of sw for my Visor and desktop?

Try http://www.palmone.com/us/support & pick your visor model from the dropdown. A link to download the desktop software should be on the new page that loads after you choose a Visor model.
