Will the USB cradle work with WIndows 95 that supports USB interfaces?

Well, I tried on an IBM Thinkpad 600 with Win 95 OSR2.

I installed the software, plugged it in, and hit the Hotsync button. A window popped up - "New device detected: Handspring Visor". I was elated. Unfortunately, that's the last thing it ever did. The laptop locked up completely, and the Visor eventually timed out. Subsequent attempts met with the same result, minus the new device detected message. It acted like it wanted to work, but it would lock up everytime.

It's simple. It will NOT work w/ANY version of W95
