Just curious since I assume the Energy Clip just has a springboard connector in it and olny passes DC power to the Sounds Good player any reason it would not work with the MiniJam ( I realize the MiniJam might not Physically fit, but it looks like it would)??????????

Just curious

The Energy Clip is an external power source. If the voltage is correct and the plug is the same, it will work on the MiniJam. The MiniJam requires 6v at 300mAh thru a 2.3 or 2.5mm plug. I got an AC adaptor at Radio Shack for about $11 with the plug to fit. Works great at home.

Question minijam and sounds good energy clip.

does this mean that when you hook up your radio shack gadget that you can play the minijam without it being in the visor? and is there way to give it an external power source like 2 AA batteries? it would be nice to utilize the energy clip.

I stand corrected on this. If you are talking about the energy clip for the SoundsGood MP3 player, it will not work with the MiniJam. The energy clip lets you slide the SoundsGood into it and use it out of the Visor. The MiniJam will not work outside the Visor.
