I have had my Visor since the first orders were shipped. Everything had been working great. I was using Outlook 2000 as my PIM that my Visor was syncing with. Even have a backup module that has come in handy twice thanks to dead batteries and a bad hack.
WELL, when I get back from Christmas vacation, my Visor will not sync. As most of you can understand my pain, I was pissed beyond belief. After pouring over the numerous posts about syncing, the soft reset did not work, a hard reset did not work, uninstalling the Palm Desktop and rebooting did not work.

BUT, I finally found a combination that worked like a charm. Here it goes for you all:

1: Do a hard reset (possible soft reset)
2: Use regedit and search for all keys containing "visor" and delete them or their parent keys
3: Uninstall the Palm Desktop and reboot
4: Reinstall the Palm Desktop and reboot
5: Hit the Hot Sync button and away you go

I am in love with my Visor again. Although, I am considering giving it to my mom and having her buy a TRGPro with the price difference being my B-Day present. That 8 megs and 2 megs of flash rom look mighty nice along with the Compact Flash capabilities. Oh well. Good luck to all of you. Hope this works for you.
