XMap Street Atlas for Handhelds

Well...I have to say I am not very impressed. I thought it would be easy to put maps on my Prism. I thought, just drag my mouse on the computer of the area I want, then export. But it doesn't work that way. To have driving directions you have to export a 6 mile by 6 mile area of the map to you handheld. So to have all of Dallas, TX, I would have to have about 15 exports.

When I finally got enough maps to do some directions, I planned a route from my house to downtown Dallas. It took about 5 minutes to do the route. Once I saw the route, the directions were intended for people with a GPS. I need directions like "turn right on main street..." These were like "N Main St 500ft" etc. Very cryptic directions.

Anyway, I would like to return it to buy.com, but I think I am stuck with it since I already opened it.

I think Mapopolis does a better job.
