Question

Hi, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Yesterday, I attempted to do a HotSync while
my Visor was in QVadis Express Reader, reading a book. The HotSync failed, and I had to do a soft reset. When it came back up, I went to select a couple of hacks (inverthack and logo hack), and my Visor froze on me. Upon doing a soft reset, I got to the Palm logo, and a couple of seconds later, noticed a blinking pixel in the top left hand corner. that's where the bootup process seemed to have hung. I tried the soft reset a few more times, and each time, it stopped with the blinking pixel.

So, I resorted to a hard reset. Now, I noticed that the current day in the week view of Datebook+ is no longer blinking (as it
used to before yesterday).

anyone have any ideas on what the problem is, and how I can remedy it?

Thanks!

Do you have the current date set correctly in the preferences menu? That could be the problem.

While in the Week View, double-tap the graffiti area and then refresh the Week View.

That's weird... How'd you ever figure that one out? Are there any more of these little, hidden, tricks?

Please don't tell me it's in the manual, cause then I'll feel stupid.

Wink

It's in the manual.

But it's in the DateBk3/DateBk4 manual. I couldn't find it in the Handspring User's Guide-- which led me to the DateBk3 manual (figuring since Handspring and Pimlico touts DateBook+ as using DateBk3 technology... :-)

If it is in the HS guide, then I'll feel stupid <g>

Thanks! that worked... and yep, I'd feel pretty smart if it's in the HS manual, too...

btw, BEN, I forgot to mention that, although the date didn't blink, it was inverted (the current date was white while the rest was black).
