Thumbs up

This is interesting. Global Access is taking orders on the InfoMitt Receiver (i.e. one-way pager), which will ship in July. They're also taking orders on a new module called Access Memory, shipping this month, which is similar to the Innopak/2V. It has 2 mb of flash memory, a vibrating alarm, and a flashing light for $39.95

Somewhat dated news but all correct nonetheless. FWIW I ordered an Access Memory module last week. I've sent them emails asking exactly when t would ship. So far no replies. Has anyone else ordered from them??

I was just wondering if anyone had one of these and whether it could be set to set off all three alarms or some other combination (vibrating and light, no sound could be useful). Have you received yours yet? Anybody check these out close enough at PCExpo?

I just got a Mobile Access to review for my campus newspaper and I can now report that any combination of the three is possible. Also, by using a silent alarm and an more substantial reminder it is possible to make the device try the silent alarms first and then sound an audible one.
