Is Xircom ever going to release their 802.11 SpingPort module? One of the big selling point for me getting a Visor 6 months ago was this module. Now, the release date keeps getting pushed back... First summer, then fall, now winter 01.
*grumble, grumble* Come on, Xircom! Get with it!

IR ethernet alternative
If you upgrade to the Prism or Platinum, you could use your IR port to connect to an IR-to-ethernet solution like the Clarinet Systems' EthIR LAN Single Port (Model #101) - http://www.clarinetsys.com/Product-Descriptions.htm#one
BTW, this is a great solution if you have more than one IR-enabled device (laptop, PocketPC, Prism/Platinum, etc.). The more devices you have, the more cost effective it can become.
This solution will not work with the Visor or VDX.

Are we going to have the same problems with wireless ethernet that some of the wireless modems (Omnisky/Yadayada) are having... I won't have to upgrade to a better-than-Deluxe Visor to use these modules, will I?
I guess I'm confused between whether the reason these new services need the newer Visors is because of the hardware or the OS.
