Question Handspring Catalog #6

I just got the Handspring "Add-On & Accessories" Catalog #6 & I just had to LOL over a couple of points.

On the cover & on page #26 there's a photo of a Green VDX with a color screen! It's to show off the Tapliner mobile browser software. Hell, if it will make my VDX display in color, you bet I'll get it...

I was also impressed that on the cover they a photo of the translucent ActiveArmor rubber case...I thought this was brand new, so new that I can't buy one until sometime next month if I'm lucky...

Ok, so maybe it wasn't that funny...I'ts been a long day!

Hey, you've got too much time on your hands if you can read the catalog that finely! Good catch about the green VDX displaying color though; I didn't notice that...

I got mine too. couple of highlights (like many deals in this thing will be discussed in a news tiem)

VisorCentral's favorite logo Vinny is on Page 9

That Green VDX also appears to have a really nice resolution!

You would think someone at Handspring actaully edits the catalog, yeah? Truth in advertising & all that... Or who knows, maybe there's a 320x320 color VDX line we don't know about yet?!? LOL

I flipped to the minijam page 9 & saw the award logo...very cool!

This isn't the only example:

Blue Nomad markets its Wordsmith Program (which I love) on their homepage with a Blue VDX sporting a color screen (I want one!)

The graphite version of the Active Armor is available now, but the clear and silver versions will be out in about 30 days.

You can check out my review of the Active Armor case here:

Nice review there...I only plan on using this new case once a week or so when I'm going out to gigs & other places I need to take notes where my SmartPad2 would be too bulky a setup.
