My VDx takes a very long time to Hotsync--up to an hour or more, and usually fails after that. I know I have a lot of apps, hacks, etc., but it never took anywhere near this long with the Palm III I had and rarely failed.

I have a PII 450 with 128MB RAM, Win98 2nd edition, onboard USB (which is enabled). Tried reinstalling software and USB cradle, etc.--no luck. Any suggestions?

OOPS! USB was disabled in BIOS--I'm an idiot! However, although the Hotsync proceeds much faster, it ends with a message in the log about Install Sync. failure. When I OK my way out of the Log, the VDx crashes and I have to do a soft reset. It also sometimes crashes, by the way, when I open DateBk+. Thanks in advance.
