I run Windows NT so i can't sync at home, but i sync on my grandfather's iMac whenever i get the chance. Then my friend got a new laptop running windows 98. Syncing wouldn't work on the laptop. Then, the last time i went to sync with the iMac, that wouldn't work either. Is my cradle broken or something? This is really annoying. Any ideas?

Try a soft reset then re-attempt the HotSync.

Also, don't forget that you can't sync with the USB cradle under Windows NT 4.

If you are using Win2K, then you also can't sync using USB. However, supposedly sometime this month Handspring is going to update the Palm Desktop software so that USB is supported under Win2K.
