Frontpage Express

I'm starting up a new personal website (http://ernieba1.tripod.com/ for anyone who cars), and I remember having on an old computer, Frontpage Express, a stipped down verson of Frontpage. I now have Internet Explorer 6.0, and I can't download it from "microsoft update". Does anybody know how I can find and download it, possible streight from MS? And no cracks at MS, please. Thank you.

Go to the MS Knowledgebase and search for FP Express... you should find a link to a download of it. They claim it's not compatable with Win98, SE, or ME, but I d/l'd it and use it with 98SE without any problems. In fact, the last few reviews I did were done in FP Express for submission to marcus.

Instead of tangling with FP Express, go to Macromedia's site and download the Trial version of Dreamweaver. The catch is that it only works for 30 days.

Well, that's some catch.

Mark, I looked, and I didn't find it.

this is from http://www.accessfp.net/fpexpress.htm --

They suggest finding an old CD-rom (such as from a magazine) with IE 5.0 or earlier on it and finding a specific file, go to the page for more info.

this site (pointed out at the above one too) http://www.concentric.net/~symba/fphack.htm
claims to have links to the correct files & instructions, but I didn't try them.

Wow! I've got tons of old IE CDs! I hope my mom didn't throw them away or anything. Thanks for the links if I need them. Does anybody know the last version to come out?
