Angry HELP, my Deluxe is jacked!

I am really puzzled
I used my Visor Deluxe about 2 days ago, and when I tried to turn it on this morning, yikes. Nothing happened. I took out the batteries and when I put them back in, the screen slowly (10 sec delay) came on. It look like a tartan pattern of black areas (like the catholic school girls skirt). About every 10 times I pull the batteries and replace them, the screen comes up all black, but most times, it's that odd pattern of lines and bars that looks like tartan fabric. I've tried soft, hard and power resets to no avail?? I did add a springboard module (flash plus flash card reader), but that was a month or so ago and I've use my visor almost daily since then? HELP

Call handspring, get it replaced. If a hard reset doesn't fix it, it's a hardware (read: HS's quality control) problem, and they should replace it.

Just took out the batteries for more than few hours ( better for whole night). Possible it will help. If not you have to call Handspring.

Talking YES!!!! It's working again

I called Handspring and they didn't have a clue, so I ordered my refurbished visor for $85 and felt defeated. Out of desperation, I bought some brand new batteries and put them in my visor. I had tried two different sets of batteries earlier to no avail. My visor worked perfect with the new batteries. It may have been them, but probably was fixed by having the batteries out of the visor for over 24 hours. Handspring cancelled my order and I'm back in business.

Thanks everyone
