FYI for GeoDiscovery Geode Users...

FYI... for those of you who are still using (or just got by some accident) a GeoDiscovery Geode, I have created a forum and a place where you can purchase the Geode Archive CD set on my website.

It's located at:
http://www.davoice.net/geodiscovery_geode.htm

The 3 CD software archive sets are still just $12 - covers duplication and mailing costs, no profit for me.

The forum has just begun, so I hope some of you Geode veterans who are still using your units will jump in.

Have a great week... don't watch to much TV... and don't forget to pray for our country, the opressed people of Iraq and our men and women of the armed services.

NMEA Compatability

The documentation for the Geode Updater ver. 1.4R263 states the following concerning NMEA Compatability:

NMEA Support for 3rd party applications: We have tested the following 3rd party NMEA applications:
- Dive Master(problematic)
- GPS Pilot: Atlas
- GPS Pilot: Compass
- GPS Pilot: Flying Pilot
- GPS Pilot: GPS Tracker
- HandMap/CityMap
- NMEA Monitor
- Path Finder (Fatal Exception)
- Place Trace
- Planatarium
- Quo Vadis
- Route USA
- StreetFinder
- Vindigo
Note: NMEA does not work in Power Safe mode. Full power mode required for NMEA to work properly.

I was curious if anyone had sucessfully used the Geode with any of these programs? And if anyone has used the Geode with XMap from Delorme?
