help. :( screen inverted

HI Folks,

I haven't been here in ages as I bought a Tungsten. But the person that I sold my platinum to just came over.

When you turn on her Plat, the screen is inverted. It's like having Mirror on (almost all black), but you can faintly see everything through the black. And all the apps work.

I tried new batteries; messing with the contrast; soft reset; hard reset... nothing.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the backlight's on. Hold the power button for a few secs.
