Not much indeed
Pretty terrible. What was the point in getting a review unit of the VisorPhone when everything they wrote could've been written without having used it. They give a very superficial overview of its features (incomplete, to say the least), then say they don't like the idea of holding a PDA up to their face. It's not necessarily an invalid opinion, but anyone could've written it -- with or without direct experience with the product. And there's absolutely no mention of the VP's data capabilities beyond SMS text messaging. Even if Handspring plays down the VisorPhone's internet capabilities in its marketing, that's hardly a minor feature.
The worst part: "If you carry a Visor with you everywhere and use it constantly, you'll probably like the VisorPhone. But if you spend most of your time on a cell phone, instead, the VisorPhone probably isn't for you (or us)." Uh, aren't people who carry a Visor around with them everywhere and use it constantly the target market for this product?
