Xircom Springport Wireless won't recharge

I have only had the Wireless module for 6 months. It now reports a very low battery state. When I plug the Prism with the module into the charger, the orange LED on the module lights for a few minutes and then goes out. I have tried 3 different Prisms and a soft reset on the Prism with the Module inserted. No change. Please help.

Same thing here after a little less than 1 year... I guess those things become paperweights after the batteries expire

Lightbulb

When I first got mine, I called Intel Support and they said if anything happened w/ the battery, to call them and get it fixed.

If you've had it less than 6 months, it should still be under warranty repair.

I don't know if the guy was making it up, but it's worth a try...

Intel replaced the module. The service rep actually mentioned something about lifetime warranty on the battery, but I doubt they'll continue support that long. You do have to remember to download the 2 year old firmware fix or you can not resolve external DNS calls.
