Question

Today I discovered that the little black plastic tip of the Edge stylus comes out, since mine is now missing! Has anyone else had this problem, or was this an isolated incident? I hope they send me a new stylus with the new Edge they're already sending since my backlight doesn't work.

Post Unbreakable edge stylus

My stylus also fell off. This happened at the airport, where I accidentally dropped my Edge and the slytus was still attached to it. If you examine the black point, almost any forceful impact is absorbed by it, because of it's position. I solved the problem putting crazy glue inside the base of my stylus and pressed the point against it.
I also emailed my experience to IDEO, the company that designed the Edge. I hope to get some styli replacements in case this happens again!

Well, the new Edge arrived today. The old stylus' tip must have not been glued in properly - it moved around a little from the start. This new one is much more securely in place. A few other differences I noticed:

- The new stylus rattles a lot more than the old one did when clipped on.
- The new Edge's screen does not feel as nice to write on as the old one
- The new screen is a little less green tinted.

... at least the backlight works.
