Exclamation

When I go to edit my profile:

http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...ion=editprofile

The table has a black background with blue/black text. So I can't read anything.

IE5, Mac.

OK. I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure this out.

The problem is that the FORM tag is nested between the TR tag and TD tag of the nested table. Move that tag up ABOVE the nested TABLE tag and the problem goes away.

The Form tag stuck in between the TR and TD tags isn't proper syntax and maybe these newer browsers are finally getting picky about things...

BTW, what's with the weird mix of Style sheets and hard-coded font styles? Wouldn't it be easier to just use Style sheets across the board?

I found another 'sort-of' bug. If you post a topic, and then hit your back button, the system re-posts your topic. Yea, more human error than anything, I suppose, but a lot of people hit that back button out of pure habit...

When I do that (IE 5.5/Win98), I go back to the "your message has been posted... and you will be automatically forwarded..." page. I have to actually click Back twice in rapid succession to double-post (which thankfully I haven't done in a loooong time ).

Another bug...

When I perform a search for a member in the members area, the results are ALWAYS just an alphabetical list of all the members...it's not actually searching for anything.

(Should I be put on the payroll for all of these bug reports )

Hey Guys...a lot of the above bugs are still there. Any chance of getting them fixed?

Just checking.

OK. I went to update my profile and found that the bug is STILL THERE!

Could you PLEASE fix this small, but annoying bug?

Thanks.

Sent a note to James/Marcus, they can help you with this....
I cannot replicate your problem since I don't have a Mac...

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?

Marcus has an iMac that he can test with, so email him with your browser information and the symptoms.

Actually, I figured out was wrong in an earlier post (see above). It is a FORM tag stuck between a TR and TD tage that screws with the style sheets in IE5/Mac for some reason. It's an easy fix, actually.

Ok, I let Marcus know about it. Are you using IE4 on the Mac?
