And people thought I was nuts...
Many people here hammered me about five months ago because I felt Handspring didn't offer any incentive to help loyal customers migrate to newer toys.
Hey, even Microsoft offers a discount for Office users.
Anyway, I'm glad to see it happen. I can't say I'm really interested until I see a color Edge, but I'm glad Handspring has heard the pleas of its customers.
In the end, they're making money. And $299 is probably where this thing needs to be, anyway. And it's not about saving major bucks, it's about wanting some sign that your long-time business is appreciated.
