Two ideas: 1 a springboard that connects to a CD player that creates MP3's from your favorite CD directly on the Visor.

2. A minidisk player. The 72 minute recording time of a minidisk is hard to beat. I could have a fist full of them taking up almost no space with unlimited music.

Think about how little battery time that would give you. Now were not talking minutes, but seconds(litterally). Also the visor does not have a powerful enough processor to rip MP3's. My K6-2 350 overclocked can just handle the task of Ripping MP3's, now try that on a 16mhz dragonball. The result would be some really bad MP3's.

The minidisk idea is cool, but I think it would end up being way too bulky. I have one of the smallest MD recorders available (in the US at least) and it's still kinda bulky. It would probably end up making your visor the size of the Sprint pdQ phone.

Has anyone actually bought that phone. For that Price you can buy the smallest phone, and a Vx with Omnisky service. Can I also mention that its the size of Truman the book, its gigantic.

Ah, but it comes with the Battery Fanny Pack ®
This allows you to carry a couple of five pound 12 volt lantern batteries around your waist.

Uhm. I rip MP3s on my old Intel Socket7 Pentium 233 just fine. It doesn't seem too bad on it. I realize it's alot faster on other machines. This is unrelated but thought I'd share my experiences.
