new ATT GSM- how to use w. Visor

ATT has a new GSM service--3G with GPRS. apparently they are phasing out their TDMA service.

I have the ATT service, and a phone (Siemens)-- it has a functioning IR port. Could I use that with my Visor IR to make data calls?

How would I do that?

Or, I could presumably get an old VisorPhone module, slip in my ATT SIM card, and have access that way. (but that would not be 3G, I suppose). Any chance they will give away Visorphones like they are giving away the Sprint module?

yes you can go to the http://www.geocities.com/palmvs here u will find a ware that will enable your ir port to master control any phone with an ir so as to send email via the modem in your phone, you will also need one touch email program, this is not free, but however as for the visorphone it is free with service activation and comes with a wireless suite including one touch, and blazer (browser) as well as two instant messaging programs
