Hey there.

I just got my new mobile phone (Siemens S25) and want to get online now.

Looking at all the how/to's on several web sites, they say that I would need to install the IR Package from Palm (except the AMX ?).
However this was written for IIIx and V.

Did Handspring change something in the OS so it is unneccessary to install?
Will I get problems by installing those 3 files?

I only installed 1 of those files (SerIrCommLib.prc ) in order to be able to IR sync...

It works like a charm...

Here are the instructions by www.iscomplete.com ...

I have problems connecting with my Siemens S25 too. I have tried with IrLink 1.5 with the SerlComm library from 3Com. No success. The Visor dials the number to my ISP but hangs up after just 1 or 2 secs. If there is any progress, please let me know.

Hmm.
Works fine for me now.
I also got IRLink with the Siemens.
What error message does it say?
I first had some authentification errors, but after switching to another ISP it worked fine.
Have you tried the device discovery?
Also leave the settings (Init strings and such) for the modem alone.

BTW: Where do you live to have a Siemens? ;-)
