Question

I'm think of buying a Visor, but do I need a serial cradle if I use Win2k?

For the time being the USB cradle does not work on win2K.
Win2k does recordnise the cradle but can not find the proper drivers.
Handspring has said they will deliver the Win2K drivers once Win2K goes public (in feb. 2000)

untill then you'll need win98 or a serial cradle...

well... it seems that I do need a serial cardle then. but the following problem is, I don't have any extra serial port available, does the cradle itself need a separated port? or does it have a adapter that I can connect another device to? (e.g. my modem)

No way! But you can get an additional I/O-Card for a few bucks.
