cant connect from visor deluxe to phone

Hi,

I have a visor deluxe running palm os 3.1H3 - I want to connect to my phone via ir but cant because the os doesnt give me any "connection" options in the prefs or anywhere else. I have the latest irlink software and have gone through all settings with handspring help etc.

can anyone help?

www.mywirelesspalm.com has some great instructions for getting connected with a Visor, a phone, and IrLink. I followed those instructions to the letter (but used ComLink instead--it's free), and was online moments later.

Out of curiosity do you need a GSM service to get online via irLink. I have Cingular in FL which is CDMA.
