Question

Why is there no software to do anything with the microphone on the visor? Does Handspring have it hardwired to the springboard slot to guarantee business for module manufacturers?

This is frustrating. I, for one, would love to have access to it in certain software.

Question

The irony of this is that most voice recorders out there have their own mic on the module.

Well, I can think of one recent release I was surprised (kind of -- prob. in ver. 3) didn't make use of the mic: Eyemodule2.
I didn't even expect "on-board" sound ... so long as it would be there when you played back the video file on the PC.
Is that asking so much?
(Even if it would increase the [already huge] file size of the mini-movies, at least give us the OPTION, eh?)
