Red face

Well, the "small cracks" located where the cover snaps on, just under the top of the springboard cover, have finally broken off completely. I am more than a little concerned about this as the cracks are spreading across the entire width of the slot where the cover (and consequently, the Visor case I bought) attach to the PDA. Since the case attaches at this point on the device, I don't think the case will work when this little ridge has completely come off.
I haven't misused this thing! It's my baby and I treat it accordingly but I think the case and snap cover design were not the best of ideas. My BVD was one of the first off the line. I ordered it Sept. 15 1999 and felt great to get it 6 weeks later.
I called Handspring and they are going to ship out a new one within "10-15 days" The nice young man said he had NEVER heard of this happening. Hmmm... I'm not the only one, am I?
Anyone want to buy a Handspring case? Analine bright leather- I'm kind of afraid to use it. email me for a good deal.
I will keep you all informed about my experience with this episode in the life of my Visor.

I've heard of this happening on the color Visors. Or at least the cracks appearing. I've read the graphite Visors are supposedly immune to this, at least mine is. Hmmm...
