I found the tamrac Model 129 Folding filter wallet to work great for modem, modules, batteries, stylii, retractable phone cord, etc. I have a smaller Nikon one that doesn't handle a modem. The tamrac does. It has 8 pockets with clear plastic windows and is nicely padded. It has some kind of waterproof, bullet-proof material for the exterior. It folds up into a reasonable size and can knock around my briefcase without a worry. Check it out at www.tamrac.com.
