Hello,

My problem is if I stick my visor in the hotsync cradle, and hit the sync button while the visor is off. It crashes the visor and forces a soft reset.

The same thing happens when I stick my Handspring modem in the springboard slot while the Visor is off.

I've downloaded the Handpsring update and installed it, but it didnt seem to fix the problem.

Question: Are you using any HACKs? I have seen a few HACKs do things like this on the Visor.

Well then, try disabling all the HACKs and then try HotSyncing and stick in the modem, with the Visor off. If this solves the problem, then re-enable the HACKs one by one and retest, until the culprit is found.

If you're using EVEdit and/or EVPlugBase, they can cause conflicts with HotSyncing. I had to delete them from my visor long ago because of incompatibilities.
